A message from the CEO

‘Look after each other’ is one of our TravelEdge Values and we strive to do this both within our organisation and the wider community.

At the moment we all know the dire straits our farmers are in following record dry conditions. This is why we have jumped onboard ‘A Fiver for a Farmer’ and are dressing up in our best (or worst) ‘flannie’s’ to help raise money for our Aussie Farmers. Incidentally, this campaign was started by a 10-year old who wanted to make a difference… how inspirational is that!

We have also been fundraising over the past year for Wesley Mission; selling old office furniture, hosting morning teas, selling snacks, in order to reach our target and then participate in their ‘Corporate Challenge’. You can read more about this here.

We are so proud of the way we are looking after our community, however sometimes it’s the small things we can do within our organisation that are simple for us, yet really make a difference in someone’s day.

At our ‘Simply Exceptional’ conference, Dr Adam Fraser inspired us to always smile and say hello even if we’re having a bad day. Why? Because this instantly elevates your own mood whilst giving someone else a boost.

I encourage everyone to look up from your desks every once in a while and see what small change you can make to look after each other.
