Payroll Coordinator

As Payroll Coordinator, you will play an integral role within the People & Culture team. You will provide payroll support to TravelEdge Group and will act as the liaison between our company and our outsourced payroll provider ensuring the timely and accurate processing of weekly, fortnightly and monthly payroll.

Things you will make happen

  • Establish and maintain employee database information, ensuring that employee information changes are correct and approved;
  • Resolve any queries relating to payroll in a prompt and friendly manner;
  • Assist with payroll month end processes in support of the Finance team;
  • End of financial year preparation and processing, including PAYG Summaries;
  • Prepare payroll reports as requested;
  • Identify ways to improve payroll processes and align with the business’ needs;
  • Ability to understand and interpret Employment Agreements and relevant Awards with the support of the People & Culture Team

About you

  • You will be an experienced payroll coordinator with at least 3 years experience;
  • AussiePay experience is desirable however not a prerequisite;
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times;
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders;
  • High level of attention to detail and accountability
  • Analytical and problem solving skills;
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
