The Role:

The focus of this entry level role is a complete Domestic / Junior Corporate Travel Consultant actioning domestic and Trans-Tasman reservations, whilst building strong relationships with your clients. This is a great opportunity for a current retail or wholesale consultant who is keen to learn a new area of the travel industry. If you have great customer service and are wanting to learn corporate travel, with in-house training and mentoring provided, this may be the role for you. We are seeking a true professional; a smart, eager person, with the right attitude.

Things you will make happen:

  • Responding to quotes within given turn-around times
  • Book flights and ticket in Amadeus/Tramada Next Gen
  • Documenting and recording all enquiries to enable error free bookings
  • Consistent caring and teamwork attitude towards colleagues, clients and suppliers

About you:

  • Prior domestic corporate or retail / wholesale consulting experience
  • Pride yourself on exceptional communication skills and customer service

Junior Groups Consultant

The Role :

The focus of this entry level role is to develop the new skills required to manage group travel – domestic and international, for conferences and incentive travel. This is a great opportunity for a current retail or wholesale consultant who is keen to learn a new area of the travel industry. If you know you have great customer service and are wanting to learn a new area of the travel industry with all in-house training and mentoring provided, this may be the role for you!

We are seeking a smart and eager person, with the right attitude, who wants to have fun whilst delivering great service to our clients.

Group travel is a growing area of corporate travel, working with the conference and events team; you do not know where this role can take you!

Things you will make happen :

  • Responding to quotes within given turn around times
  • Book flights and ticket in Amadeus/Tramada Next Gen where required
  • Liaise with airlines and suppliers for all group needs
  • Invoicing of deposit, progress payments and final account to client
  • Manage clients budget for the group expense
  • Confirm flight/hotel/ground transfer contracts

About you :

  • Entry level travel industry experience with a passion for travel
  • Pride yourself on exceptional communication skills and customer service
  • Sound attention to detail and the ability to prioritise
  • Amadeus GDS experience would be an advantage

Looking for a successful and passionate retail holidays consultant who wishes to manage the travel requests of a professional client base. Are you well travelled and wish to on pass your knowledge and experience to your clients? Do you enjoy a complex itinerary and delivering above and beyond on a daily basis?

This established client base seeks your travel expertise and your well regarded customer service to help book seamless journeys.

What your day will look like :

  • Responding to quotes within agreed turn around times
  • Service delivery based on exceeding expectations
  • Proactive consulting and travel advice
  • Invoicing of deposit, progress payments and final account to client
  • This role is Monday to Friday business hours only

We would love for you to have :

  • Passion for travel and keen to pass on their knowledge to their clients
  • A minimum of 5 years retail / holiday travel industry experience
  • Proven sales success in achieving targets with fantastic customer service
  • Have the ability to prioritise, and problem solve
  • Sound attention to detail and value working as a team
  • Amadeus GDS and Tramada Next Gen experience would be an advantage
  • High service ethic, the extra step with all staff, clients and suppliers
  • Capable of building good relationships
  • Extensive personal travel experience

Groups Consultant

The Role :

The primary objective of the position is to manage all corporate groups operations, both domestic and international travel for conferences and incentive travel. You will have the opportunity to run the whole project from quoting to booking to closing the finances. You should be a true professional with a great personality. The Role 

As Head of Sales you will create, develop, drive and deliver new business opportunities for the TravelEdge Group both individually, and leading our Business Development Team to maximise new business growth. This strategic role will ensure TravelEdge remains a market leader, ensuring we develop long-standing proactive, innovative partnerships driven by customer service excellence. The role reports to CEO.

Things you will make happen

  • Build and lead Business Development team to achieve team targets
  • Create and deliver new and innovative client solutions
  • Own the sales cycle: from establishing pipeline to client implementation
  • Utilising our product and services to ensure TravelEdge is the best provider of travel-related services in Australia
  • Networking to ensure client, industry and supplier engagement

About You 

  • 5 + years experience in a Sales role with prior TMC experience an advantage
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth in a team and business
  • The ability to drive engagement through advanced coaching/mentoring skills
  • Core selling and business development skills including cold calling, client presentations, tender submissions and client negotiations
  • High service ethic and strong commercial acumen
  • You will be creative and challenge what we do and how we do it
  • Desire to want to be part of something special and to make a difference
